To date we have had visiting scholars from several countries (Brazil, Israel, South Korea, U.K, USA) not supported financially by the program, but intellectually engaged with the program. We welcome visiting scholars from overseas, and given the provenance of the gift, from China in particular. Unfortunately the terms of the gift do not allow for such visiting scholars to be funded, but we welcome and provide office and other facilities for visiting scholars who come with their own funds and who have contacted a faculty sponsor and articulated a research program in gender and science. We also actively collaborate with the UC Berkeley Science, Technology, and Society Center and the Beatrice Bain Research Group for events and for sponsoring visiting scholars.
